Information We Collect

We collect information required to verify your identity, to determine whether or not you qualify for a merchant cash advance, small  business loan or line of credit product, and to process your account including withholding a percent of future sales. Signature Capital and affiliated entities collect information that includes but not limited to business and owner name, address and phone number, federal tax ID number, social security number, and personal and business social media credentials. Signature Capital collects information that includes your bank statements, bank account information, and credit card statements. Signature Capital may contact you to collect additional information. Signature Capital and affiliated entities obtain your credit score from one of the three credit bureaus or in some instances all three credit bureaus. Signature Capital and affiliated entities’ policy is not to share your credit score. Signature Capital and affiliated entities use your financial, business and social media information to create a proprietary score in connection with Signature Capital’s efforts to match you with a potential funder for a merchant cash advance. Once you are a customer, Signature Capital may reach out to you for information again if you decide to request an additional cash advance.

Privacy and Sharing of Information

By providing us the required information as outlined above and in your application, you are granting Signature Capital and affiliated entities access to it, except as otherwise provided herein. Signature Capital and affiliated entities will share certain information with us in our effort to find a potential funder for a merchant cash advance.

Security of Information

Signature Capital and affiliated entities take the security of your information seriously. Signature Capital and affiliated entities hold your information using bank-level data security: 128 bit-encryption and a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. This creates an encrypted connection between your browser and our servers. All information remains encrypted at all times.

Opt-Out Policy

Signature Capital and affiliated entities may contact you to offer you products and services that may be of interest to you. To opt-out of receiving emails, telephone solicitations or other forms of contact from Signature Capital and our business colleagues regarding other products and services, please send an email to info@sigcap.com with “Opt-Out” in the Subject line, or a letter by postal mail to:
